Chinese New Year celebrations are wrapping up this week, and we hope you have celebrated Spring Festival with family, friends, and good tea. As the name suggests, this holiday looks forward to the arrival of spring, and in the tea world thoughts are turning to the upcoming harvest season. 2011 tea-picking will begin in just a few weeks! Roy plans to leave for China in late March and as usual, will be reporting live on the blog. In the meantime, we'll update you with weather conditions and harvest outlooks as we all eagerly anticipate a delicious and bounteous crop of fresh spring tea.
